Review content:
Silver Dipper is a friendly ice cream shop with a cute atmosphere. One wall offers a hand-painted mural of a park scene, another displays photos of customers, and the tables and chairs are old-fashioned ice cream shop standards. The menu offers everything from Green Tea to Yellow Cake icecream, plus low-fat icecream, frozen yogurt, sorbets, and a variety of drinks. The waffle cones are baked in-store, and the difference is noticeable. My favorite thing to order is the Flavor of the Week a single scoop for a single dollar. There is a weekly in-store contest for a free quart of ice cream. I used to live in the RiverMarket apartment complex above Silver Dipper, and the side entrance offered easy access without having to go outside. It is open late on weekends, later on game nights. It can get really crowded on nice evenings, with lines out door.
