Review content:
I went to Addison Point this last Friday night for dinner and karaoke. It looked promising since there was a good crowd. First the waitress couldn't get the drink order right or the food order right. The burger and fries were ok at best. I have had much better in the area (Fox Sports Grill is much better in Legacy Mall area).
I am a regular at karaoke at a few other places and the kj at Addison Point showed a lack of professionalism and broke the common karaoke etiquette rules. He admitted to me that in order to sing more, you have to give him money...he takes bribes!!! So everybody else...good luck if you get to sing more than one song in a night.
He also needs to learn how to run sound. He doesn't know how to turn up the mic or use the wedge speakers so the singer can actually hear themselves. However, he uses a different mic when he gets up to sing and sure can turn the volume up on himself so loud that nobody can even hear each other talk. Apparently he is there to perform his own show and nobody else matters. I will never be back to this place.
