Jimmy'z Towing Founded in 1986 by Jimmy Ramirez Sr who is a third generation self made man. Who also is a life long Ventura resident. Started with his Father Max Ramirez and brother Max Jr in the old Avenue area in the early 60's on what was then "" Harriot st "" witch was a Salvage yard , at one time The family had four Salvage yards all in Ventura mostly in the old Avenue area. One such place popular known as coast auto salvage,Ramirez salvage,and Ramirez and Abby salvage to name a few. Jimmy would go on to start his own place known as Oxnard auto Recycling in the eighties after many years of trucking scrap metal for many years! In his famous old Peterbuilt ! In 1989 Jimmy along with his two sons made the move from the salvage industry to the towing industry full time. Jimmy'z Towing has been going strong for now over twenty years with a great line up of trucks. All ranging in size and color these trucks are rolling pieces of art themselves ! Some having what is better paint jobs then most hot rods . Having the passion for custom cars and motorcycles and being in job that is 24 / 7 and 365 days a year Jimmy along with his two sons Jimmy Jr and Mike, Who both have the passion for building custom cars have found a way to enjoy what they love. What happens when you Ride a Harley Davidson and Grow up around Lowriders and old Chevy's and some of the baddest rides ever. I'll tell you what you get. The first ever full line of Custom Tow trucks Ever! Some have tried to copy them but they dont make the cut . Jimmy'z is a church going man and even with looks that would make some turn and go the other way , Has a heart of gold! He gives back, helps those in need, and always has time to listen to others. As tow truck drivers we meet all walks of life, it takes more than just a truck to the job now a days! It takes a man such as Jimmy'z , and his sons. He has past down and instilled the same drive and work ethic's and respect as his father did him. So when your going threw Ventura and you see some guy in a low shiny black flamed out tow truck with dark shades on with a beard like zz top! You just saw Jimmy'z
