I did get the early bird special. I arrived at Pier 39 in Fishermans Wharf and for $15 dollars this 3 level cruis took me on the bay not to far past the Golden Gate Bridge and right along side but very close to Alcatraz. The thing is the sun rises in the east and the sun was shining on to the side of my camera and my pictures didn't develope very clear. The tour guide and his guest narated the atmosphier about the different building's history on the Bay's shore line. Go in the afternoon I think you will get better shots. There were several small children who parents fed them a carry on snack. There is also a small snack bar that serves alcohol.
