Major Engine Failure within 4 months. Do not buy a car from this unscrupulous dealership without reading how the treat their customers.
The 2006 Mercury Mariner Hybrid I bought from Faulkner Ciocca Ford/Mercury of Quakertown in April 2010 experienced major engine failure in early August 2010. Within in 3 months and 2 weeks of owning the vehicle (15 days after the dealer warranty ended) lack of engine oil was the cause of the rod bearings to break.
The cost of repairing the engine is $6,600+ none of which Faulkner Ciocca feels they are liable to help with. They do not guarantee the cars they inspect and sell. Make sure you get your car inspected by an independent resource or else they will sell you a car that hasn't been serviced or had it's fluids changed.
Do business with them at your own risk, it just doesn't make sense how they could treat a customer so dismissively.
