Review content:
I originally went to Harmony for therapy. While my therapist was kind and understanding, the therapy sessions proved to be ineffective and I stopped going.
At the same time, I also began seeing Dr. Monheit, one of the practice's two psychiatrists, for much needed medication to treat my panic disorder. I found him very cold and an impersonable, but continued going as I did not want to disrupt my treatment. The straw broke the camel's back, however, when I recently saw him for a refill. My medication makes me very forgetful, and I had missed an appointment without realizing it. Dr. Monheit was much more concerned about how I was going to pay my late fee than my mental health. In fact, he actually made me leave his office to pay the l missed appointment fee before he would speak with me. This gave me the strong impression (and this is just my impression) that if I was unable to pay the fee he would not see me to give me the refill of my medication that is vital to my wellbeing. I have asked to switch to the other psychiatrist. We'll see how it works out.
