Despite the bad reviews here, I hired Don Farr because they gave me the cheapest estimate--by far--for my local move. I'm so glad I took a chance with this company. The movers were quick, efficient, and very careful with my things and the walls and woodwork of my narrow doorways and halls. They carried large, heavy furniture up 4 long flights of stairs, around narrow turns, and didn't leave a smudge or a scratch. When, in spite of many patient attempts, my sofa didn't fit through the door on the first level, the movers took it to the second floor entry and brought it back downstairs once inside. Best of all, the guys kept a great sense of humor about everything, even teasing my hyper-vigilant husband (""whoops--we just tore all this wallpaper off"") and joking that, if we ever move again, we shouldn't call them: ""tell our boss that you want a whole different crew. Say we were lazy--the worst ever."" I'm happy to say neither is true: the movers from Don Farr were outstanding.
