I called the Speedy of Troy location for a tie rod replacement on my car & was treated kind at first. As soon as the manager, Cory, came on the line, it all went SOUTH. He quoted me $15 on the labor for an oil change w/my provided oil & filter, even though there was a coupon for a COMPLETE oil change for $13 in their sales ad.
Furthermore, I decided to replace my tie rod elsewhere and wanted to just do a front end alignment via Speedy of Troy with my $39.95 coupon, so I called them, and Cory, who was ticked off that I decided to change my tie rod elsewhere, decided to spite me!
He says, ""Well, since you're doing your tie rod elsewhere and making more work for us, I'm not gonna honor your $39.95 front end alignment coupon, I'm gonna hafta charge you $55 or so.""
OUTRAGEOUS! If he hadn't known of my tie rod replacement, he wouldn't have said that. What a fraud! He reflected poor customer service skills and made Speedy look like a gimmick auto shop. I refuse to take my car here ever!
