This monumental church was begun in 1927 and completed the following year. It is of the Romanesque style of granite, 200 feet long, 100 feet wide, with twin towers 125 feet tall, seating 2000. The main altar is 49 tons in weight of Carrara marble and is 30 feet tall. The statuary is Spanish in origin. The organ has 3000 pipes and is one of the largest in the city. The Shrine of Divine Mercy is a separate chapel in the south entrance. Masses in Polish and English are held weekdays and Sundays. Pros: real eye candy Cons: No a/c. Hot!!!
