Review content:
Two weeks ago my boyfriend's car broke down en route from San Francisco to South Lake Tahoe. He called his towing service through AT&T and they referred him to KB Motors saying that the shop is run by two brothers and has a reputation of honest work and appropriate charging. We were completely skeptical because of the common knowledge of most mechanics always deceiving customers in order to turn a better profit but we had no choice because his engine was basically fried at the time. We ended up taking the car (a Range Rover) to KB motors and were told that it was the engine belt and tension pulley that had fallen off. Long story short, the Range Rover's engine was blown and not salvageable. We signed for the $150 initial attempt to repair and were only charged for the part, no labor! They also kept the Range Rover there until we could agree to have it towed by a junk car company. We ended up only paying for the part then and KB Motoros went out of their way to find a cheaper tension pulley to attempt to install.
Pros: HONEST, RELIABLE, TRUSTWORTHY
Cons: NONE!
