Review content:
A few years ago, while looking for a bartending job, I faxed my resume over to the hiring staff at this bar. One evening I received a call from the ""manager"" - I can't remember his name -- who seems interested in meeting me right away as they needed a bartender asap. I arrived 30 minutes later. The manager interviews me with faux sincerity. Not really telling me why all of the sudden he didn't need the help although I held over 2 years NYC hospitality experience and am an attractive, fit female. He then tried to appease the situation by telling me of a bar in my neighborhood that was hiring. I already knew what was going on; my name is Irish/Gaelic but I am not. Looking back I should have called him out on it but I took the classy stance. I accepted his drink. The skanky looking female bartender with the 80's hairstyle was rude when I asked for a call drink. Obviously I was too hot and brown for the place.
