I was really excited about this because I wanted another peak at my baby and to confirm she's a girl, but it turned out to be a huge disappointment. My appt. was supposed to be at noon, they called shortly before I was about to leave and asked if I could change it to 2 because their machine crashed. Which was a lot more inconvenient for my husband and myself but I said okay, stuff happens. Although I was a little annoyed because it seemed like she'd known about it all morning but waited until the last minute to call. What if I had left early to run errands first? I live all the way in Cedarburg so it's not like it's just down the road.
I was just about to leave for my 2:00 appt. and I thought I better call and make sure the machine was fixed before driving all the way down there and the lady goes 'Oh no, he's not done - we'll have to push it to 3'. Thanks for calling and letting me know, lady! I couldn't do it at 3, I had to be home for my son's bus and then I had class. Thank goodness I called first, I would have been furious! I scheduled my whole day around this... They didn't even offer me a discount for my trouble. My doctor had tried to talk me out of going, she said it was a waste of money since I've already seen a perinatologist and 'those radiology techs aren't going to see anything he didn't see', but I was excited to do it. Forget it - I'll spend my money on something else. :(
