I've done my fair share of shopping around for optometrists over the last 10 years, and I am so glad to have finally found a place that I trust and would recommend to others!
Not only was Dr. Fan pleasant to talk to, she was extremely thorough in her explanations of what exams we were going to do and what each one was supposed to test for. She found a way to tell me things in terms I could understand, something that none of my other optometrists ever bothered to really do, which made me feel much more comfortable with the entire procedure. When she made a recommendation to switch to a different brand of lens or solution she told me exactly why and what I could expect -- and she was right!
I am also very pleased with the other Couple of Eyes staff. They were familiar with the details of my insurance on my first visit and had all the documentation prepared for me ahead of time to review. Unlike other places where I felt the need to triple-check the invoice against my insurance policy at home to make sure no excess charges were added, I felt assured and confident when looking at the statements. The staff doesn't pressure you into buying exclusively from them and are genuinely interested in trying to help you get the best deal. Overall, the value of the service they deliver and the respect they show towards patients have really won me over. I definitely wish I had switched sooner!
