Review content:
Absolutely the worst experience I've had in all the remodeling work done to the house over the years. Kitchen Design Specialists has no customer service, nobody returns your phone calls and things aren't finished as scheduled. Whatever they tell you as far as timelines, figure on about 4 times that. They are extremely expensive but don't do a quality job. KDS is not detailed-oriented--they did not caulk around the cabinets or seal grout on the tilework. Some of the cabinet doors were not hung straight. Appliances were not ordered and some were installed incorrectly. None of the workers care about the quality of the work they are doing and they have no respect for your house at all, leaving it dirty or breaking things. There's no project oversight and you can't count on the people who work there to communicate with each other or their sub-contractors. If it were possible to give them less than one star, I would do so.
