Review content:
This is a dingy bar with 8 small tables. Prices are low, service was fast and friendly. Shame about the food. Salad came before appetizer and was iceberg lettuce with 1 slice of tomato and 1 slice of cucumber. Stuffed clams were 97% bread crumbs ($4.95). Entrees: I ordered sauteed scallops with garlic butter. Eight medium sized scallops were like rubber and there was no garlic in the butter. Steak fries were good and plentiful. Hubby ordered sole stuffed with crabmeat and scallops. Fish smelled fishy, which it shouldn't if it's fresh, stuffing was tasteless and it all was topped with American cheese (what were they thinking??!!). Both entrees cost $13.95. Coffee was worse than dreadful. When we sat down, I said to Hubby ""this could go either way..it will be either a gold mine with cheap, fabulous food or it will be awful"". Unfortunately, the latter applies. Go somewhere else for a few dollars more and have a better meal.
