Review content:
I lived in the Bronx all my life and I would have to agreed that Lincoln is possibly the worst hospital ever. I don't know if the staff isn't properly trained or if The Bronx receives the leftovers, but my experience at this hospital was not the greatest. My first encounter was me visiting an ill family member. The entrance reeked with urine and there were homeless people loitering in the waiting area. The receptionist was very rude and would not assist me. I had to call family members to find out further infomation. Later on, I found out that they misdiagnosis him to have HIV. Apparently, after receiving a second opinion, this was proven to be a mistake. Some records were switched accidentally at the hospital. They showed no sympathy and told him that these sorts of things happen due to human error. This was unacceptable. Anytime, I get a chance to tell anyone about the lack of professionalism and service, I tell them not go near that death trap. If you need to visit any hospitals in the Bronx try Jacobi on Pelham parkway or Montifiore near Mosholou
Pros: Only go there if you need a bandage, if not try the corner store. you're probably safer.
Cons: long wait time, incompetent staff members, and wrong diagnosis from doctors
