THIS WAS THE WORST SHOPPING EXPERIENCE EVER!!!! PREPARE TO BE FOLLOWED LIKE A COMMON THIEF!
My husband, my father-in law, and I saw an add for a set of wrought iron patio furniture for under $200, so we decided to take a look. The patio set was already sold, so we decided to take a look around.
My husband and I are about 30, and my father-in-law is just under 60. We were dressed in nice casual clothes (it was a Sunday morning) and arrived in a nice car. The point I'm trying to make is that I do not believe we look particularly suspicious.
We were very blatantly followed from room to room like criminals by a middle-aged terribly dressed gentlemen who obviously has not changed his look since the 1970s. Apparently, he's in ""loss prevention"". What he didn't know was that he was following two attorneys and a retired peace officer. This guy was literally breathing down our necks, and he was not subtle about it at all. When my husband confronted him about this, he denied that he was following us. Please. We're not idiots.
Normally I wouldn't elaborate any further on the quality of a business's products based off of one experience, but I am so offended by this experience, that I'm willing to give you the real deal.
NEARLY EVERY ITEM IN THIS PLACE IS JUNK. You could buy it (for much less) at a garage sale. I think I saw some ""collectible"" toys that I got out of happy meal twenty years ago. We saw a knife that my husband purchased the exact same one (same brand) for $5 dollars fifteen years ago, and they were asking $38 dollars for it.
The ONLY item that looked like it was not PURE CRAP was the patio set that was already sold. And now I'm glad that it was already sold, because I could not live with myself knowing that I had contributed A SINGLE DOLLAR to this place staying in business, let along $150.
It looks like a hoarder's closet exploded in this place. I will never EVER go back to this place. And if this is what all ""antique"" shops are like, I will never set foot in one again.
