Review content:
I always like the fact this place doesn't jump out on the street. A nice local California/Italian place that has a good crowd, tasteful ambiance, nicely prepared food and reasonable prices. Their pizzas are individual-size, fairly simple but very fresh and tasty. The Petaluma 1/2 herb chicken makes for a wonderful comfort food. I foget what they call it but their version of Cioppino is really good too although the polenta at the bottom is a little rubbery. My only complaint is a pasta w/ shellfish I had once that I suspect might've been reheated in the microwave. Oh yeah, the deserts are handmade and quite good too. You may find similar or better restaurants, but everyone seems to have a really enjoyable time and if you don't live in Montclair, a visit there will almost feel like you're getting out of town. Pros: Ambiance, Fresh food
