Review content:
Been coming here for 20+ years, well not this location, but the one on Solano. Fast, quality, tasty. They haven't increased their prices very much over the past 20 years like most places. You can still get a super burrito with guac for under $6. The only thing that I would like them to improve on is to grill the tortillas instead of steaming them. This place is what consistency is all about. There once was a place called ""Taqueria de Berkeley"" near the California Theatre and that was the best burrito that I've ever had. It went out of business over 10 years ago, but they grilled the tortilla first. Everything there was homemade by the owner. Gordo as well as Picante are excellent choices for Mexican for under $10. No need to go anywhere else unless you want to try Taqueria Cancun in San Francisco...not the Cancun in Berkeley which is where the portions are smaller and the prices higher. Pros: quality, fast, cheap...what more do you want
