Review content:
Hi, I am a tenant at Red Cliff Manor and I have no intention of leaving because, it is low income senior housing and the facilities are beautiful. Therd are 1 and 2 bedroom apartments, mostly 1 bedroom. They are small but adequate and boast a laundry room in every apartment as well as pay machines aacessable to all. The facilities are beautiful and will remain so because use of them is discouraged. They brag about the pool and even have children's hours. The problem is that management changes the hours on whim and will close the pool with any excuse including changing the excuse when told the reasoning is faulty. Housing here is not assisted living, however, management treats tenants as though this was a rest home, including unlawful entry and monitoring visitors. They will not hesitate to let you know when you are having too many visitors. Harrassment is not out of the question. Rules change per individual and without any paper trail. BBQ grills are not allowed on your patio but, a gas BBQ grill with propane is provided in the gazebo. You can invite family and friends to come eat with you in the gazebo, but be prepared to feed a hundred people because private parties are not allowed unless you are the manager. Babysitting is also not allowed unless you are the manager or a member of management's select group. Rules are enforced for tenants and not for management. Although this is federally subsidized housing, if you complain, management may suggest you leave. Is it worth it? I am staying but be aware, with so many retired people, the main activity here is your business and management is a great source of gossip including finances. As the property is family owned and operated, management is fully supported by the owners and professionalism is unknown where vindictiveness, meanness, pettiness and stupidity abound. You decide before you spend all your moving money and are stuck in a physically beautiful facility - look don't touch.
Pros: Physically beautiful
Cons: Look don't touch and your business is my business
