Review content:
After visiting an ill friend in the hospital, I began walking toward the subway, and my nose was assaulted! The food smelled sooooo good, I was forced to go into this place...a place that looked cramped and like no other restaurant I've ever been in before! That was several years ago, and I visit Ruthie's almost monthly, despite the fact that it is at least an hour away from my home! The food is beyond description! It brings to mind your---or your best friend's---mother's home cooking! Miss Ruthie herself can often be seen either taking orders or cooking. They have two locations, but this one is where you can ""eat-in,"" though be prepared to make good friends with the people at one of the other seven tables, because everyone is so close together.
Pros: Everything except for parking
Cons: Parking
