Review content:
Lets start this off by saying we left this place 3 days early and went home. Out of 10 resorts we stayed at this is way below standards of RCI and any reasonable resort company. This is my first complaint....
-No security. Guard Shack at gate (which was never closed) was always empty. Sometimes sign read back in 15 minutes on patrol...
-Door locks are old home type that are worn out. Keys could be duplicated easily.
-Windows. Barely able to open then unable to lock. Falling apart. Have to be 20 years old minium and were junk when New.
-No Closets. Armorie had hanging space if you are a dwarf. Couldn't hang clothes. Used a hat rack.
-No Safe. With the poor security at gate and lack of unit security we took all valubles anytime we left.
-Televisions were old and worn out. 3 TVs, 3 different brands. Living room TV was the worst. VCR in living room. $20 dvd in master.
-Coffee Pot Issues. Made coffee for my wife 1st morning. After 1 hour brew time, hile she had almost finished a cup, I discovered white chinks of crud in the filter... Replacement pot was old as well....
-Broken toilet on 2nd day. No one there to fix until Monday... 24 hour maintenance (NOT)
-Window Blinds. Have about 1/2 inch on each side which allows someone to look directly in to bedroom. Also lets massive amount of light in so hard to sleep. I covered the gaps with towels.... Poor...
-No Shower in Master. Tiny jetted tub had a handheld shower but nowhere to hang the thing. Would have had to shower 1 handed while holding shower head....
-No Laundry in room. Would not normally be a problem but the on site laundry is located 1/2 mile away in RV campground. In between the bathrooms in a block room with no windows or ventilation. Also no soap to use/buy. $1.25 a load to wash and to dry. Washer had a dirt ring in it and smelled....
-Construction is Pitiful. Balcony is about to fall off. Bottle of water laid next to inner wall would roll fast to the edge. Shakes and moves as you walk on it. (This is concrete and 3 floors up) All railing has been installed crooked and screwed into Vinyl siding not Wood! Vinyl siding was installed by idiots. All trim is half done and poor. Attic access hole has makeshift door resting on odd mix of screws and nails. Floor squeaked terriblely. As a contractor I would not hire most of the workers who had patched this mess of a building. Only quality work was the drywall. Cabinets were re-painted Junk. With no handles...
I have stayed in timeshare condos in Virginia, North and South Carolina, Florida, Tennessee and Alabama. I have never seen such poorly planned facilities. Balconies of units face a very busy and loud highway. While the Reservation Center and Activies Building are next to the small pond. No useable towel bars in bathrooms. Both baths have the towel bar over the toilet. They are mounted so low you have to double fold the towel to keep it from dragging down the fron of toilet tank. The master bedroom toilet is in a closet sized room super tiny. So it really is stupid to have a towel in there at all!!! Lock off bath has no hook for robe, but does have hairdryer the master doesn't. Lockoff kitchen was totally empty. No dishes, no towel, why have it??? Lockoff had no soap or shampoo in bath. Most bizzare way of doing things....
As this is the only review I ever felt compelled to write I can only leave you with this:
DON'T DO IT!!!! YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!
