Jax has become our family's place to celebrate just about anything; I can't say enough good things about it. From the first time we went there, we loved the piano music, the warm wood-toned atmosphere, the superb service, and the wonderful food. It really has the feeling of a family-owned place that's been around a long time.
The patio seating is beautiful, by the way; you completely forget you're in the middle of the city. Fish swim in the little stream that runs through and I love to feed them bits of my roll.
The wine list is very good. I love the crab-stuffed mushroom appetizers. We've never been disappointed with a meal there. And if you have a special occasion, they give you little commemorative matchbooks. Great place!
