I have never been to a church where the pastor is so unloving and hateful. I went to the church for the first time yesterday, August 15, 2010. The church was nice on the inside and the ushers were friendly. The choir sang beautifully as well. Then the pastor got up and pretty much yelled at everyone in the church because he didn't get to open up the church service. I didn't see him when the service started so he might have come in late. The pastor went on to have everyone open their bulletins and read who was in charge of opening the service and remind everyone who was in charge. He talked terrible to the choir saying that they didn't know what they were singing about and the reason behind certain songs. What does this have to do with teaching and preaching the word of God??? He beraded every position in the church except for his. There were seven visitors in the church for the early service. My family and I were thinking of joining until he got up. I would never join that church or come back after seeing what I saw. It made my spirit down for the rest of the day thinking of the members of that church and church in general. I would never talk down about a church, but this pastor has some explaining to do to God!!! His church will never grow with the attitude he has toward his followers. His followers are going to dwindle down to none if someone doesn't get him out of there soon. Just my opinion....GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!
