Stay away from these Crooks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm a mid to large builder in Bergen county and used innovation chimney to install a custom flue cap for a BRAND NEW 2 million + home. After the 1st rainfall and paying ~$1000 for a custom copper CHIMNEY Cap a good amount of water came into the fireplace area thru the top section of the flue (where the capo was installed). I called John and Desiree and notified them of the issue and they without looking immediately stated it was not related to the work they preformed. They did no stand behind any warrantees with the material or labor. Instead they wanted me to buy a 2nd cap for another ~$1000. I tried to address this with John (owner operator) on the jobsite and caught him smoking marijuana in his truck. I was a fool to let these folks work on this project, later did I find out that they uninsured. Believe that in a high risk occupation as this is, they are uninsured. That mean if the get hurt, it?s your problem too deal with. I asked on several occasion for an insurance certificate (which is very standard), they stated no problem and sent nothing. Stay away from these crooks, they make themselves look bigger then there are a 1 man 1 woman husband and wife combo shop with plenty of phone numbers and answering services that get back to you (unless it a new sale). They even gave themselves self review on most of the major sites (deceiving) and don't even list there address(es) of business on these own proposals, go figure....
