I haven't been to New Center Eatery in quite some time, so when I woke up CRAVING the chicken and waffles, I knew it was going to be a GREAT day! It took a while to find a parking space (that's to be expected, because the food is AMAZING!) and when I got in, I was met by a long line of people (again, this is to be expected seeing as how the food is AMAZING). I got through the line relatively quick, and then I waited a half hour for food, while others around me seemed to have gotten their food before me. I didn't think much of it, but when my waitress only came by 2-3 times MAX and with a lack-luster for life...I knew what I was in for.
My server gave me my drinks and didn't check on me PERIOD! Another server dropped my food off, noticed that my drink was empty, and said he would be right back. Needless to say I did not see him or my original waitress again. They only get 2 stars in my book today; the service was TERRIBLE but the food was great! Next time I go, I'll just order carryout!
