I have had to use the Fender Mender in Charleston twice now and have had nothing but the best service. The people that I have dealt with have been extremely nice and helpful. The first time I came in was after a bad wreck and John Lastko explained everything with me in detail and made sure that I was okay with everything before starting. Repairs were made in a timely fashion and another problem was found with my battery that wasn't caused by the wreck. I was informed immediately about it was only charged a small cost for the part itself and nothing for the labor. The second time I came in I was having trouble with my fuel tank door and my side view mirror. I was unable to catch the name of the guy who helped my then but he was just as helpful if not more. While looking at my car just for the estimate, he could order a new fuel tank door but he could also adjust it right then as long as I didn't mind it sticking out slightly. Problem 1 fixed and i haven't even gotten my estimate. For my side view mirror, he said that he would just need to order a part and put it on and that it would be about $30. He also said that I could probably just go to the Nissan dealership and get the part cheaper through them and bring it to Fender Mender and he would just put on for me. I opted to order it through Fender Mender because I had already been to Nissan and after a cursory glance at my car, gave me an estimate of over $200. I would much rather stick with Fender Mender even if it did cost more then go to a place where I feel like I am getting cheated. Thank you to a great crew at the Fender Mender of Charleston.
