The only downside is having to share the picnic table with other people - which is fine in a group but can be a downside for a dating type environment. That said, I suggest this place as a great pre-hockey game stop, or even a first date meet up. I personally prefer sitting at the bar so I can look and face my date. Food wise - the gritty chips are a must, especially if you are only there to drink. I have tried a sampling of all their beers, and I must say my favorite remains to be their ale and belgian types (the best is gone due to winter being over). Vacationland their summer beer is now on tap - so head over and have a few brews as a break from your walking or pre-dinner time killer! Pros: great crowd, tvs, relaxed vibe Cons: picnic table dining - you share the seating
