Businiess name:  Fillmore Pub

Review content:
Well , it is really not as terrible or as great as the previous reviewers would imply. Fillmore is pretty average though. I moved here eight months ago from New Jersey and work in Richardson. I also live in Richardson on the advice of a corporate relocater but have spent those months on 75 at night going downtown to enjoy quality pubs. I wanted Fillmore to be great but once again , like growing up in Jersey , I look longingly across the bridges and tunnels, half way there, oh ooohhh living on a pray-er ( my lease is up in four months). It just doesnt have the vibe or authenticity or integrity of , for example, the old monk which it obviously emulates. However, when a jersey boy gets back to a local bar after a night in Manhatten he is nicely surprised by the prices, not so here ....same prices as downtown. I went on a slow evening and the bartender / manager / person behind bar not making drinks was so indifferent. My female friend said 'oh oh, look a tat-daddy"", i didnt get it at first but now i see them everywhere, khakis, goaties, golf shirts, beer guts and a sleeve of tats that they flex when young women are around. Hilarious J. I mentioned politely that my guinness did not seem quite right but all tat-daddy did was tell me they have the best guinness in town and look away! overall though it is ok. i will come infrequently until gas hits $7 and may be a regular when it hits $12.
