Review content:
The food is really good and the portions are huge. The portions are big enough for two people. Every meal also comes with corn bread which is very moist. So far I had the smothered pork chops, meat loaf, collards, black eyed peas, sweet potatoes, macaroni & cheese, mashed potatoes, and the potato salad.
The meat loaf was too dry, the macaroni & cheese tasted like velveta cheese, and the potato salad is too sweet and I love sweets. However, every thing else was excellent.
I had carry out once and sat down and ate at the restaurant. The restaurant was very well staffed but, inefficient and slow. I don't know if this is typical for them since restaurants do have their bad days. I recommend trying them if you are not in a hurry. Other then the lack of service this restaurant is great and has great food with cheap prices.
