So...to all these people writing reviews about how terrible Jensen's is...QUIT YER BITCHIN! I've never had a bad experience stepping foot in there, and I'm a girl. First time I ever went in there, I didn't know what I was looking for/needed etc. ALL of the staff members have been kind and knowledgeable. They have always answered my questions to the fullest extent without purposefully trying to make me feel like some dumb P.O.S. When going into a gun shop, you don't need to put on a front and act like you know everything. I can guarantee that once you open your mouth, they're gonna talk guns right back at ya. The staff live, eat, sleep, and breathe guns. Guns are their passion, so it probably isn't their intention to make you feel like a dumbass, but I can see how a customer might feel like an idiot after talking to them...the staff knows their $hit! My advice is, even if you are a gun owner, don't go in there expecting them to worship the ground you walk on just because you own a firearm(s). There's always room to learn more about a subject/object/hobby if you're willing to listen to advice and information. If you're law enforcement and don't like the way you've been treated when stepping foot in there, it's probably because you went in there acting like a dickhead...don't act like a dickhead, and you won't get treated like a dickhead! As for the tension between the workers in the store...I've felt that too. We've been shopping at Jensen's for about 4 years now and my husband and I have purchased about 3/4 of our guns and ammo at their store. In all the time we've been shopping there, all of the same staff members have been there. The staff are a tight-knit group of people, they're like family. And with any kind of ""family"" in business, there will always be drama. Get over it! Sure there are many other gun stores in business in Denver, Ft. Collins, etc. and we've been to several of them, but we have always found Jensen Arms to have the best prices and the most knowledgeable staff. I have recommended many of my family and friends to them and so far, none of them have been disappointed either. Don't listen to the bad reviews, because overall, this is an excellent place to shop!
