Review content:
I bought an old house last June and got in a little over my head on what to do about an eclectic list of sewer, drain, and plumbing issues. I also needed to get back on a maintenance schedule for my HVAC. I called Thompson Plumbing, Heating and Cooling, sent the team a very long list of repairs I wanted to start chipping away on. They were there the next day exactly on time, on schedule with a 4 man team of pleasant, helpful guys. We talked through the estimate, they assisted me with an easy finance project and they were ready to go. They replaced our vintage dual leaky tub faucets with a high end Wolverine lever faucet and went above and beyond in restoring and grouting the tile around it with a few spare tiles I had from the previous home owner. They also rebuilt my 8 ft leaky cast iron sewer stack with a PVC stack, shortening a few drain runs so that they made better drain flow from the tub. I suffered no plaster cracking as they were extremely sensitive to my old house, new paint job concerns as they were cutting out the iron work. Jeff was extremely picky about the quality of his PVC stack work and I am now very happy with the drain flow. They also did some light excavation on my sump pump drains and corrected several gutter drain runs in the yard to solve water issues reseeping into the house. The biggest job they helped with, however, was with the trenchless sewer repair. They were patient with their camera work, showed me every gap in my very long, broken clay drain line and let me watch the entire resin process of their relining service, only needing to cut a small 4 x 3 hole in my basement without wrecking all of my new spring plantings outside. They also alerted me to a dangerous lead pipe issue that the home inspector missed that I will eventually have abated. I was extremely grateful for their professionalism and fast service. The guys are pleasant and patient. It was a high dollar project but I don't think I would have been as pleased with the results had I gone with the other vendors I spoke with. We'll be working together from now on. Thank you Jeff, Justin, Craig, Dave, and Tina.
