Yeah, I get the fact that the truffles are hand made and are tasty. They are also $4 a piece. There aren't many small indulgences that cost that much. Great. I'm willing to pay that. But to charge a dollar to put it into a little cardboard box???? I doubt the box is worth a fourth of what the chocolate is. Seriously? Those aren't hand made. They are cut in some factory somewhere. When you buy a really expensive designer shirt they give you the box and tissue paper for free. It's one of those niceties of buying a premium product. Charging you so much for the box is like adding a fee to your fine dining restaurant for using the napkin. Charge for the chocolate....not the boxes. Pros: yummy chocolate Cons: but charge extra for a box?
