Review content:
These negitive comments. For years that street has been unsafe at night. Wine Down has helped us regain our street. Thanks! They are a part of our neighborhood. The owner will greet you with hug and smiles. Menu's good but try the ""specials"", especially Stuffed Portobella"". The ambience is perfect. Low lights, and good music make the place. The fireplace and booths are cozy. There's usually live music. Service is fine (what someone wears doesn't effect my judgement ). The winelist could use more pours for comparison like 2 Pinot's and 2 Shiraz's. As for Freddys... Freddys not only a huge, but awesome selection and every store has a ""wine steward"". I don't think any winebar can have a complete winelist without finding more then a few bottles from Freddy's. WD's just made it easier to find the right ones. Wine Down isn't about sophistication it's just about whing down! Pros: Fireplace, comfortable furniture, cozy Cons: better menu, needs signs
