Review content:
As our contractor charged an arm and a leg for his painter, I looked elsewhere. I have been regretting this for 4 years now. The final bill turned out to be the same, but the work delivered was a nightmare. There was no supervision, except when I had complaints. In my opinion there was only one person who had real experience with painting and as a result he was in charge of the crew. We had the feeling that this company took on too big a job and then had to look for extra workers.
No primer was used on bare wood or new railings.
No mention was ever made of uncaulked windows (which werebrand new at that time). And even though a painter may not have to caulk, a good one should bring the lack of it to the owner. There were many places that we, as owners, could not see, but the painters could. We now experience leaks around the windows in many places.
The paint used was of inferior quality and our house needs repainting.
When the ""painters"" scraped the windows they threw the paint scraps AND the used blades in our air-conditioning ducts (which were still open since the floors had not been installed).... Would not advise this company to anyone.
