Great vibe, the best coffee around, cute baristas (who actually know what they are doing with my precious coffee), gourmet beer and wine for under five bucks (and a $2 organic beer during happy hour!), and great live music on the weekends. I've even played there with my trio, and I can tell you that they treat their musicians very well, unlike the rest of the places I've played in the this city. Really, if you're in this part of Kirkland, the choice is obvious. My friends that come from out of town always complain that once they've tried the coffee at UCL, the coffee back where they're from just doesn't do it.
