I felt like getting me and my husband away from ther kids for a weekend. It's located in a place called the Santa Clara Valley, and only about an hour north of Los Angeles though you'd never know. The area is very un-LA - quite rural and picturesque. The lobby is AMAZING. Tuns out the place is a federal historic landmark and you can see why. The staff was helpful and sweet in a small town kind of way and our stay was super relaxing, which was the goal. The only drawback was that the restaurant was closed for renovations though the manager said it would be open again in January. Anyway, now my husband and I know the perfect rendezvous getaway.
