Review content:
I have never been to a store that tried so hard to not make a sale.
My fiance and I went there on a Saturday in early January to shop for wedding bands. The first man who helped us got impatient after about the third ring I tried on and handed me over to a woman named Brenda. We both knew we wanted platinum bands, but Brenda actually tried to talk us down to 4 or 5 other metals. We finally requested quotes on 2 rings in platinum, wrote down all of our information, and she said she'd call us on Monday with the quotes.
When I hadn't heard from Brenda by Wednesday, I called and left a message at the store. She called me back and had no clue who I was or what I'd wanted. I gave her the item number and details of the ring I wanted a quote on. She called back with a quote, I reconfirmed the item number and details, and told her I'd call back the next day after talking to my fiance. She wasn't working the next day, so she told me she would give all of the information to another associate and I should ask for him. I called back the next day and confirmed the style number and details with this person, and ordered the ring. On Monday, Brenda called and asked me if I wanted to order the ring, even though I had already ordered it on Friday.
I went in the next Saturday to pick up the ring. I waited for over 20 minutes before anyone even acknowledged I was in the store. I can understand being busy, but at least greet me and tell me you'll be with me as soon as someone is available. Finally, someone helped me, brought out the ring, and it was not the ring I'd ordered.
We also never received the quote on a ring my fiance had requested.
I could not believe the horrible customer service this store had, and will never be going to a Jared store again. They must not care at all about their service, because I sent a complaint in through their website, got a reply that it was forwarded to the store manager, and never heard back after that. Don't waste your time getting the wrong ring at this store- I'd recommend Diamonds Direct or Blue Nile instead.
