So, I am not from the east coast and I was recommended this salon by a co-worker. I do not mind paying for quality service. I did not get quality. I had a color with highlights and a cut with long layers. Most of the time the stylist did not talk to me, she talked to her co-workers, not that I need continued interaction but, it's just polite to respond when someone is talking to you. When I arrived to the salon I waited 10-15 minutes while she came in late to work because she stopped for coffee. I asked for ""subtle"" highlights and I got ""excessive"" highlights. I had hair coloring on my forehead which she did not attempt to remove. I asked her to dry my hair straight and she dried it with big curls. When she cut my hair she did not drape me with a gown so my arms and legs were covered in hair! I asked her if she could get me something to wipe the hair off she had the courage to say ""There is a lint roller in the closet (and pointed)!"" What was the supposed exceptional name of the stylist....Alyson. I have paid quite a bit in the past for haircuts at Aveda salons and I have never been disappointed. I was beyond disappointed and will never go back.
