GOLD'S GYM HAS A DECEPTIVE BUSINESS PRACTICES !!! Back in February my husband signed up for 8 single sessions personal trainer with Sean McWorther , my husband never really completed those 9 sessions ($40.00 each , so it's $320.00 ) because of being busy and all . He took my husband to signed on the pad on the front desk and never given any paper except the receipt for the payment by credit card . Then we heard Sean has quit . Okay , that's not the problem , in April when we got our bank statement we found out that GOld's gym had charged us $320.00 each for month of March and again in April , for more sessions . My husband NEVER signed up for this , why would we want to sign for something that we can't afford ? My husband clearly told Sean that he only wanted 8 SINGLE SESSION , THAT'S IT . Not singing up under 12 months contract . Later on when we talked with the sales manager , he gave us a paper that my husband never seen or given before , it was a 12 months contract of 8 sessions / month . For $320 . The general manager , Ronnie Starr later on called and told my husband this "" well , the good news is you have 19 sessions to use and the bad news is you are stuck for the next 12 months "" We tried asking for Sean's number so that he can clear this up but they refused to give us any information on him . We cannot afford to pay $320 per month for luxury like this , and if we can't afford this , then they're going to ruin our credit . We tried to talk with the corporate office but nobody answered ! We tried talked with Ronnie , but he was not helpful at all . Today i found out They don't even have packages for 8 sessions !! I found out the smallest package for month to month ( without contract for 12 months ) is only 6 sessions , and for packages under contract for 12 months , the biggest is $350/month for 120 sessions . We never signed up for this 12 months contract !! We just relocated from Chicago , i have never seen any problems like this with a health club and GOLD'S GYM IS VERY DECEITFUL WITH THEIR CLIENTS !!! Never i seen a big business being handled like this , very unprofessional , and LIES to us their clients !! everyone needs to beware before decided to join this gym , they have a very deceptive business !!!!
