Last night marks the 4th visit to La Dolce Vita and what a disappointment! My wife and I had very enjoyable evenings until last night. The service was slow, the food mediocre and wrong (I will explain in a moment) and our server didn't seem to care about any of it. Perhaps the economy has taken its toll on this small restaurant.
Regarding the food being ""wrong,"" my wife and I had both ordered different chicken dishes and she received my potatoes and vegetables and I her's. When we pointed this out to the server, he said we were wrong and served us. He later said it was a kitchen error. No real apology. No correction. I had to switch the sides onto a bread plate for my wife. Not what I call a pleasant experience. Add to this the server disappearing for a while and I am not sure we will head back. Too bad as we like to support local restaurants. Hope the facility fixes these errors and remembers to at least apologize to the customer as without the patron, La Dolce Vita would have no business.
