Businiess name:  Green Papaya Thai Restaurant
Review by:  citysearch c.
Review content:
I recently had a fantastic meal at Green Papaya and will definitely be dining there regularly. The food really is as good, if not better than, anything you'll find in Thai Town. This place uses the freshest ingredients without skimping on anything (ex: only white meat chicken is used). Dishes are full of flavor and can be tailored to any degree of heat, as well as accomodate even the pickiest or diet-restricted diners. I asked if I could substitute chicken in a beef dish and it was done, no problem. Everything is of exceptional value--better quality, flavor, and pricing than anywhere in Pasadena or on the westside. The friendly and helpful service also distinguishes it from most restaurants in the area. Must-try dishes: green papaya salad, tom yum goong, penang curry, spicy basil stir fry, pineapple fried rice, pad thai, drunken noodles, and of course, mango with sticky rice. Pros: Great Food, Friendly Service, Exceptional Value
