Review content:
I moved on August 14th and my movers were out of the Cheviot office of 2 men and a truck. The person I talked to on the phone initially was very nice and helpful. The movers showed up at 8 a.m. as promised. I asked the driver if he wanted to turn around as I have a difficult driveway and the other mover told me the driver was ""new"" and that he would be the one turning it around but he couldn't drive on the road (RED FLAG). That mover was EXCELLENT - he moved large pieces of furniture himself and spent most of his time telling the other mover (the driver) what to do. I felt like I got 1.5 men and a truck. As a result it took at least an hour extra (maybe 2) - he would make an entire trip with one small thing that I could have carried myself while the other guy moved the washer and dryer up to the 3rd floor by himself.
Anyway, I called the office after and they refunded $100 which I guess was basically the extra hour it took them because I didn't actually get 2 movers. The girl I talked to was VERY NICE and helpful.
During the move they broke the glass panel on the side of my dining room hutch. Both movers said I would definitely get a call in a few days and it would be fixed. They filled out a damage report. To date, I have called the office 9 times and each time am told ""He"" is in Louisville or very busy or with a customer or whatever but that he will call me that day. NO CALLS. Just yesterday I was told he was in the office and would call me right away. No missed call, no message, no call. So I called again today...I am beyond upset and told the person that answered. So now I have a message from this guy and I don't want him anywhere near my house. I am disappointed with their customer service...their office staff is lovely but the people actually doing the work are KILLING THEIR REPUTATION. I won't recommend or use them again.
