Review content:
Went to Tabu Grill on Saturday night with a party of eight to celebrate a birthday. As part of the celebration we brought four bottles of special wine.
We drank two bottles and asked server Miriam to open a third bottle. She refused and told us we had to order wine off their wine list. She explained that they have a two bottle limit. We asked if it mattered that we were a party of eight and the 2 bottle limit would logically apply to a table of two or four? We asked to speak with the manager Michael. Michael came over and was even more insulting than Miriam. We needed to listen to a dissertation on how they don?t make enough money of the $44 entr?e?s and $18 salads. Michael was rude and recalcitrant and when of the other party members wanted to speak to him and said ?excuse me? Michael replied with ?excuse you? and walked away. I have never seen just poor and unprofessional behavior from anyone in a customer service position. There are lots of other choices in Laguna including the Montage where you can pay a similar price and have a much better experience.
