Review content:
I have been using this car wash for a seasonal detail on my 3 vehicles and my boat since they opened. Last year, like many, times were hard so I did my own cars. The last vehicle before that was about 2 years ago and I was less than thrilled with the service. Giving benifit of the doubt, I decided it must have been a bad day and did not get too upset. This week I took them a truck I just got used. I wanted a full detail, inside and out. When I dropped it off, I told them of my last experience and asked that they be sure to do a good job. I stressed I wanted it cleaned very well.
When I went to pick it up, I was immediately unhappy. At first glance, I saw wax dust all over the car. As I looked closer, I found several spots with wax still on it. There were still M&M's and other stuff under the rear seats which fold up. They never even attempted to clean there. I pointed it out to them and they did vacuum it out, kind of. I was hoping they would give the vehicle the once over to make sure they did not miss anything else - not a chance.
When I got home I found lots of dog hair under the seats. Again, easily accessable just not done. All of the windows were streaky and the front windshield was not done in the center. It had been wiped from both sides and had a big undone spot in the center from top to bottom. There was some kind of spilled drink on the vinyl floor molding between the door on one of the back doors and the passenger door molding was very dirty as well.
When I got home I also found water spots all over as they never used the air compressor they have to blow out the cracks before waxing so you don't get spots. The bed of the truck was fifthly. It was never washed. I had to take it to the Quarter wash to spray it out. I aslo bit the bullet and rinsed the whole car. Guess what, surprise, there were several spots the water never beaded.
To top it all off, I was upcharged $15 with no explanation of what it was for.
I have an appointment scheduled this week to get a proper detail at another shop.
I will not be returning to Paradise as thier service is not what it used to be. What a shame. I drove an extra 10 minutes to go to them and with gas prices today, that is no small thing.
