Mr. Darin Ruby of Alisia?s Hotmix Pavement had come to my place of employment and approached me with an offer to asphalt the driveway at my home. After speaking with him, I agreed to have Mr. Ruby complete this job. He had completed the majority of the driveway except the end near the road, leaving an area that is approximately 6? x 15? without asphalt.
With the job still incomplete Mr. Rudy stopped working and told me that he would be returning later to complete the end of the driveway that was unfinished. He left his equipment sitting on my property for a week. After that time, he returned and removed his equipment without completing the job. He then sealed the asphalt and never returned again to finish the small asphalt section mentioned above. He made no attempt to call me nor did he stop by my place of employment to let me know what his intentions were.
Unfortunately I paid Mr. Rudy in full, the amount of $6,000.00 at the time of the service.
Since that time, I have called both phone numbers provided on his business card numerous times. At first he would answer and tell me that he would get back to me the next day or that he would be here to complete the job. At later attempts to contact him, he no longer answers his phone and my messages to go to voice mail. Now I receive no return calls at all from Mr. Ruby.
I would like to suggest that you make notice to anyone that uses this company that they do not pay the bill in full until all the work is completed to your satisfaction.
