Review content:
Meijer keeps me coming back for one reason and one reason only. Lower prices than everyone else. The customer service at this store, as well as the Knapp corner pharmacy is terrible. I am a 3rd shifter and often grocery shop late at night. I can understand only having one lane open when it's 3 o'clock in the morning. What I CAN'T understand is having NONE of the lanes open, with the exception of the U-Scan lanes and 4 workers standing around talking ignoring the fact that there are customers that need to be waited on. I had over 100 dollars worth of groceries. They could have at least helped me bag my groceries! Instead, I had a girl walk up to me, grab the bottle of wine that I had put on the scanner that of course had to be approved by an employee and scold me that it was past 3 o'clock and I couldn't buy alcohol. After working a 16 hr shift, the last thing I feel like doing is scanning and bagging my own groceries, all the while putting up with rude employees that won't even do their job. Shame on Meijer for not working harder on customer service!
Pros: prices
Cons: customer service
