Review content:
Star Theater has never seemed very welcoming to me due in no small part to its layout. The lobby area is very small and narrow, and cluttered with the ticket booths and concession stand all jammed into this one small area. There is little to no room for lines at the concession stand and to get to the theater hallways, you have to maneuver around a bunch of things. The views to these hallways are obstructed when standing at the ticket counter, so you don't even know where you're going.
I recently saw a movie there, though, because the start-time was the best for me and my friends. The reel was off slightly from the projector, however, resulting in many blurry frames all throughout the duration of the movie. This was somewhat distracting, moreso when there was text on the screen. I didn't feel like getting up during the show, but when it was done I went to the customer service desk and told them about the problem and that the projector needed to be adjusted. The customer service guy immediately apologized and gave me and my 3 friends free passes to come back as compensation for the poor viewing experience. I thought that this was a very nice response to the problem and appreciated their customer service.
