Review content:
I have witnessed the full-on evolution of Huynh Restaurant, from it's earliest (small) space in Downtown Oakland, to the beautifully re-designed expansion of that location. Now my favorite Vietnamese restaurant in Oakland (where I live) has raised the bar again with the gorgeous build out of a NEW location in Walnut Creek (where I work.) The colorful dining room is complimented by two of my favorite aspects of dining out. Number One: Great Menus! Kim (who is the chef & owner) has taken her family recipes to an even higher culinary standard with out losing the trademark influences which make her cooking so DELICIOUS! Number Two: the Walnut Creek locatin has a FULL BAR! When you pop in for your first visit, ask for Kim, let her help you order from the menu (again these are her family recipes), and relax as you are about to enjoy what dining out is supposed to feel like. A SPECIAL EXPERIENCE! The second time you go...she WILL remember you. Promise.
Pros: Full Bar, Easy Parking, Fabulous Staff
