Review content:
After living in New York, San Francisco, Boston who would have guessed that my quest for the perfect cupcake would end in Bellevue, Washington??? Well, it did... at New York Cupcakes! The cake at this charming little bakery is perfectly moist and the frosting is....yes, perfect as well. The texture is divine...not too sweet, not too thick. There is wonderful selection of mouth-watering flavors that changes daily. And the new owner, Lisa, is a gem! Well done! The only thing I want to point out is that the address listed in Citysearch is incorrect -- it appears the phone number is right, however. The location is actually on 8th Street in Bellevue in the Crossroads center.
Pros: Yum, Yum and Yum! Did I say yum? Added bonus -- a friendly staff!
Cons: 1) Probably not good for a diet. 2) Not a lot of inviting seating - could be a lovely space for a cup of coffee with a cupcake if more was addded!
